Counter Flow Chiller

Lee's Brewery utilizes a the "Maxchiller" counter flow chiller manufactured by  Precision Brewing Systems.  Hot wort flows into the top inner tubing and is cooled by the time it flows from the bottom outlet.   Cold tap water from a garden hose is run into the top outer connector and is returned via garden hose to a drain from the bottom outer connector.  A counter flow chiller is more efficient than an  immersion chiller and can save you time as well as reduce your water bill.
