Hop Back

Lee's Brewery uses a stainless steel hopback manufactured by Precision Brewing Systems installed in between boiling kettle outlet and the counterflow chiller.  The hop back serves two purposes.  1.) It captures trub flowing from the boiling kettle to prevent it from accumilating in the fermenter.  2.) Is used to leaf hops in order impart a hoppy aroma to the hot wort flowing through the hop back.  Definately a unique and highly usesful product
